Tintypes: The Sundance Festival

Sundance portraits

Words by Billie Jenkins

We know memories of Sundance are fading to the back of the mind, but whilst perusing esquire’s website we stumbled across these beautiful tintypes, made by Victoria Wall at the festival. Tintypes are made with wet plates in the traditional 1800’s style. Beautiful pictures of the beautiful people. Here are a few of our favourites, but for more head to: http://www.esquire.com/blogs/culture/sundance-tintype-portraits-2014?click=smart&kw=ist&src=smart&mag=ESQ&link=http://www.esquire.com/blogs/culture/sundance-tintype-portraits-2014#slide-6
