Welcome to the work of Matthieu Bourel, surrealist collagist harking back to the older days of college using modern techniques. His latest collection Faces pushes the tradional imagery of the golden collage era, utilising famous faces of glamour and twisting them in his own unique style. Most recently Bourel has exhibited in his home of Berlin, where he moved from his native France, and has been featured in several exciting publications including Zebule magazine, Index Books Contemporary Portaints, and on the cover of Gestalten’s Age of Collage. We love the fluidity of his shapes when bringing together a handful of bold images.
