Graphic designer and writer, Astrid Stavro, has been making tracks in the world of publishing and typography since she graduated from the Royal College of Art nearly ten years ago. Between her studio and being a contributor of Elephant magazine, Stavro makes time to exhibit her work all over Europe.

By following the design ethic “to complicate is easy, to simplify is difficult” (Bruno Munari), Stavro and her studio create considered, elegant and thoughtful design, often for publications and print. Taking influence from swiss, minimalist design, she often uses block shape and pure colours but has a more playful, experimental approach to typography.
