#Ginspiration: Boodles

Winston ChurchillWords by Shaun Cooney

Nothing shows the quality of a product more than a celebrity endorsement and for boodles these come from beyond the grave, both Ian Flemming and Winston Churchill’s drink of choice was Boodles. Named after the famous Boodles Gentleman’s club in St James, Boodles dates back to 1845 but has been missing from the UK market for quite some time now, but it has just made a return to the home shores thanks to Proximo Spirits. Containing no citrus notes like many gins Boodles ops for nutmeg and coriander as a couple of its 9 botanicals. For a gin with some history and served best in the driest of martini’s Boodles is the brilliant choice.
