#Ginspiration: Broker’s London Dry

Broker's London DryWords by Shaun Cooney

The Broker’s distillery in Birmingham is housed in an old brewery converted when gin became more profitable than beer. A distillery built above a natural spring providing pure water, they use botanicals from all across the globe, juniper berries from Macedonia, liquorice from Italy, lemons from Spain and nutmeg from India; and all go into making the classic taste of their London dry gin.

Broker’s is a brand that’s built on the blueprints of a London dry gin. It gives of a typical London dry gin, with strong juniper notes, a little burn but smooth from start to finish, and to really prove its English roots, the bottle is even topped with a little bowler hat. Brokers recommend a twist on a julep by using gin and coriander leaves in replace of rum and mint, but I suggest a nice long G&T.
