Rapha Cycling Guides

Now, I am no keen cyclist. I’m not any cyclist at all in fact. But I am a girl with a very soft spot for all things printed. Which is why I am totally in love with Rapha’s set of pocket-sized cycling guides, covering eight of the biggest cities in Europe; Amsterdam, Antwerp/Ghent, London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Barcelona and Copenhagen.

The books are hardbound in a spectrum of bold colours and parcelled in a textured, embossed slip case. But the real joy comes from the incredible illustrations inside. A local illustrator was commissioned to artwork each city, giving the books an entirely bespoke aesthetic. Designed and written by Max Leonards and Andrew Edwards, these lads knew what they were doing when the produced the guides that are as appealing to a bookshelf as they are to a road trip.
